Telltale Games is a bit of an odd one. Despite an array of rather mediocre titles and one that was flat out terrible (Jurassic Park really was pretty bad), the somewhat unexpected success of The Walking Dead seems to have wiped the slate clean for a developer that had arguably toiled in mediocrity up until that point. Still, praise where praise is due; The Walking Dead: Season One, despite a few technical hiccups was deservedly heaped with both critical praise and financial success. The question is, can they do it again? Can they continue to match those levels or even surpass them?

I didn't think it would happen - and so fast, but so far The Wolf Among Us has outshone The Walking Dead Season 2 for me. The modern setting is refreshing, the art style is brilliant, and the depth of mythology, lore and character relations is faultless in this new and gritty world of Fabletown. [MMGN]

While The Walking Dead is the crown jewel of Telltales adventure game lineup, they have a second title that is seemingly still running a bit under the radar. The Wolf Among Us, based on the comic series Fables, takes the excellent formula established by The Walking Dead and transfers it to a game that feels similar while doing enough different to easily stand on its own.
